For instance it was revealed in one part of the story that an ad from The World Bank aimed at reducing poverty was positioned alongside some articles with a racist tone. Furthermore, there is growing pressure on social media companies such as X to tackle aggressive content more seriously than before due to increased concerns about advertising dangers through mobile applications like X. This action by the World Bank may worsen these trends persuading other advertisers to rethink their methods of keeping advertising safe. What this will mean is that unless advertisements are viewed first, X has no reason to prosper in fighting these ills.
