As Mark Zuckerberg, head of Meta Platforms Inc., grapples with fresh scrutiny from U.S. lawmakers amid allegations that drug traffickers have been exploiting Facebook and Instagram for marketing illegal substances. He has been formally asked by members of Congress to give an explanation as well as elaborate on the measures his organization is putting in place to fight against this serious issue.
